Salonak Client Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you book grooming services as a client on Salonak.

1. About Salonak
Salonak is a UK marketplace connecting you with verified mobile barbers, hairdressers, and businesses offering at-home visits. We facilitate discovery, booking, secure payments, and support.

2. Your account
You must be 18+. Keep your login secure and your profile details accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account. You cannot delete your account while you have open (non-completed / non-cancelled) bookings.

3. Bookings
• Prices are shown in GBP before you pay
• A booking is confirmed when payment succeeds and the professional accepts (where required)
• You must provide a safe, accurate appointment address and be available at the agreed time
• You may cancel or reschedule in the app subject to the cancellation policy
• Business bookings may be assigned or reassigned to a team member; you will be notified of staff changes

4. Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Salonak does not store your full card number. Tips are optional and go to the professional. Refunds follow the cancellation policy shown in the app.

5. Conduct
Treat professionals respectfully. Do not harass, commit fraud, or misuse the platform. Keep Salonak-introduced bookings and payments on Salonak.

6. Liability
The professional or business performing the service is responsible for service quality and safety, subject to applicable law. Salonak is a booking platform, not the service provider.

7. Law
Governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Professionals

Salonak Professional Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to individual professionals and business staff who deliver services on Salonak.

1. Relationship
You are an independent service provider, not an employee of Salonak. You choose your availability, services, and prices within platform rules. You are responsible for tax, insurance, and UK legal compliance.

2. Verification
You must complete Salonak verification before going live and deliver services safely. Salonak may approve, suspend, or remove accounts that fail standards.

3. Bookings
When you accept a booking you commit to attend at the agreed time and location. Keep your calendar and travel buffers accurate.

4. Payments
Client payments are collected via Stripe. Salonak deducts platform commission as disclosed in the app. Payouts use Stripe Connect after onboarding and a holding window. Tips have no Salonak commission.

5. Platform integrity
Clients you meet through Salonak must stay on-platform for bookings and payments. Off-app solicitation may lead to suspension.

6. Law
Governed by the laws of England and Wales.
